Sandi graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science in 2002. Immediately following undergraduate, she moved onto graduate school at New York University receiving a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in the summer of 2005. She became a Certified Lymphedema Therapist in September 2005 and further enhanced this specialization in 2008 passing the Lymphology Association of North America’s (LANA) nationally standardized exam. Back in 2003, she became certified as a Pilates Mat Instructor and worked in multiple health clubs leading group classes and personal training.

Sandi was employed at Beth Israel Medical Center November 2005 until March 2009, as the Senior Physical Therapist in the Outpatient Rehabilitation Department. Her background includes competitive gymnastics and downhill ski racing.

Sandi is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the National Lymphedema Network.  She continues to strengthen her skills through a variety of continuing education courses.  Most recently she completed the Pink Ribbon Program.  This certifies Sandi to instruct breast cancer survivors post operatively in a pilates based recovery program.
